These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Minibus Hire Belfast website (the “Site”) and any minibus, coach, or private hire vehicle booking made with Minibus Hire Belfast (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using this Site or making a booking with us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Bookings & Quotes
- Quotes provided via the Site, phone, or email are estimates based on the information you provide (pick-up/drop-off location, dates, times, passenger numbers and vehicle type) and may be revised if this information changes.
- A booking is only confirmed once we have issued written confirmation (by email or otherwise) and, where applicable, received any required deposit or payment.
- You are responsible for ensuring all details provided at the time of booking (dates, times, addresses, passenger numbers) are accurate.
3. Payment
- Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking and may include a deposit, full pre-payment, or invoice terms for corporate and tour operator accounts.
- All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise.
- We accept payment by the methods stated on our Site or as agreed in writing at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations & Changes
- Cancellations must be made in writing (email is acceptable) to info@busways.co.uk.
- Cancellation charges may apply depending on how much notice is given before the scheduled journey:
- More than 14 days before travel: full refund less any non-refundable costs already incurred.
- 7–14 days before travel: 50% of the booking value may be retained.
- Less than 7 days before travel: full booking value may be retained.
- We reserve the right to amend or cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (see Section 8, Force Majeure), in which case we will offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.
- Any changes to a confirmed booking (dates, times, vehicle size, route) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5. Our Responsibilities
- All vehicles are maintained to relevant UK roadworthiness standards and are fully insured.
- All drivers hold a valid PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) licence where required for the vehicle being driven.
- We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off, but we are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or other circumstances outside our control.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must behave in a manner that does not endanger the safety of themselves, other passengers, or the driver.
- We reserve the right to refuse travel or terminate a journey, without refund, for passengers who are abusive, violent, or who endanger safety, including through excessive alcohol consumption.
- Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle through misuse, negligence, or deliberate acts, and may be charged the full cost of repair or cleaning.
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times where fitted, in accordance with UK law.
- Any items left on board are the passenger’s responsibility. We will make reasonable efforts to return lost property but accept no liability for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
7. Liability
- Our liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the value of the booking, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings, missed connections, or missed events, arising from delays or cancellations outside our reasonable control.
8. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, road closures, strikes, vehicle breakdown despite reasonable maintenance, or government restrictions.

10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Northern Ireland courts.
